In this email, I want to share with you a bunch of new features we’ve added to the PD-go! system, and also to tell you about an upcoming group webinar PD-go! training session.
Here’s some miscellaneous new features we have recently added to the PD-go! system:
1. Highlighted left navigation boxes… http://mrstevebooks.com Just let us know what color you wish to use for the highlighted box surrounding your navigation item, and we can also change the font color on rollover too. We can also update font type and size if you wish.
2. We can now put code into the top header graphic area, including links, search boxes, etc. Check out www.agoodname.org for a sample (look in upper right corner of site). It is found in your ‘Website Manager’ > ‘Additional Options’ (at the very bottom of the page) > ‘2. Edit my Page Header’
3. You can now pay your invoices to our company via the web at http://www.pdgo.com/Pay-Your-Invoice-Online.html We accept the four major credit cards as well as PayPal account funds.
4. Update to E-Store Coupon Codes System (applies only to clients that use the E-Store):
1. You can now specify minimum price and minimum quantity in order for the coupon code to be valid.
2. Also you can specify if the discounts are calculated from the entire cart contents or a line item basis. For instance if the coupon is set to apply to all items in the cart:
1. check to see if the the total amount of items in the cart is greater than or equal to the minimum quantity setting
2. check to see if the subtotal is greater than or equal to the minimum price setting
3. apply the price and or the percent discount
3. If the coupon is set to apply to individual cart items:
1. Check to see if the line items individual product price is greater than or equal to the minimum price setting
2. Check to see if the line item qty is greater than or equal to the minimum quantity setting
3. apply the price and or the percent discount to each line item product
4. You can set a date range for the coupon code to be operational, so it will turn on and off on the dates you specify in advance.
5. We can now ‘lock’ the background image on your website. Some clients have background images on their sites, and previously, if you scroll down the page, then that background image will move up and out of sight. However, now, we can lock that background image in place. To see this in action, visit www.pdgo.com and scroll up and down. You will see that the grass/sky photo doesn’t move. Please let us know if you want us to lock your background image (assuming your site uses one!)
6. We have added the ‘Book Antiqua’ font to the system, so you can now use that font in your left navigation items, page title, etc.
7. Within the mini gallery, you can now enter a URL (website address, such as http://www.whatever.com) and if/when the image gets clicked when displayed in the mini gallery, instead of bringing up the larger version of the image, the site visitor will be taken to the URL specified in a new browser tab or window.
8. If you have pages that don’t have much content on them (they are short pages, not long), we can click a button to bring the bottom of the design up the page so there is not any excess white space under the footer. Here is an example: http://mucktrucksouthwest.com/MACHINE-COMPARISON-PAGE.html
9. If you want to have a navigation menu link that goes nowhere, just put in a hash sign # in the “External URL” box for that page. You can see this in action on www.vbcba.org – in the left column, there are a few navigation separators of -------- symbols. If you click them, nothing happens.
