Clean Harmful MS Word Code from the PD-go! Editor

Pasting content in part or in whole from MS Word will cause severe issues on your pages because MS Word content is coded so much differently than website code (HTML). Please see the instructions below for fixing a page that has been corrupted with MS Word code:

Clean HTML of MS Word Code within the PD-go! Editor
Step 1: While editing the offending page, highlight the offending text (all if necessary).

Step 2:  Click the "Remove Formatting Button" button found on the editor toolbar just to the right of the text alignment options.

Step 3: Save the page

Step 4: You may notice some formatting changes. Simply reset any missing format and save the page.

To avoid this issue in the future, always paste MS Word content using the "Paste from Word" button on the editor toolbar. This feature will quickly clean the content and prepare it for the editor.
